The Ten of Swords reflects resilience and transformation. Paired with the multifaceted luffa gourd, this union of plant and portent represents the end of a hardship cycle and the promise of transformation or rebirth. From culinary applications to natural sponges and traditional medicine this plant begins its versatile life as a vibrant green veggie (harvest at 2" long) similar in taste as a zucchini. Dried luffas reveal a brilliant network of fibers that comprise nature’s perfect sponge. Be sure to provide sufficient support as vines can reach 30’ long. Ideal for an arch trellis. Annual.
